Dani Barker

Canadian born from small town Salmon Arm, Dani Barker is an actor, writer, producer and director known for Starvival and the feature thriller Follow Her starring alongside Luke Cook; directed by Emmy award winner Sylvia Caminer and shot by Academy award nominee Luke Geissbuhler. Follow Her had its world premiere at Fantasporto in April 2022 earning Dani the Best Actress Award along with Best Film and Audience Award. Follow Her will be playing festivals around the world throughout 2022 alongside Dani's short dramatic film that she directed and produced, Three Days, a period piece set in the 1950's starring Erin Boyes and Kristian Bruun. Prior to this, Dani sold two series, one to TBS called The Unprofessionals where she produced and played the lead; and a second series called Squirm to Canada's LGBTQ+ network, OUTtv. Dani is a self starter and entrepreneur with many projects in development. When Dani isn't acting or producing, she's often highlining or on the road traveling with her cat and dog.
